Research Summary
Wei Kang received his B.S. and M.S. degree from Tsinghua University,
China. He began his research on medical image processing since his
junior. Most of his previous work dealt with microscopic images and
mammograms by morphological methods. After spending one year in ECE
department at Boston University, Wei transferred to BME department at
Case Western Reserve University in 2006. He's going to continue his
image processing research on OCT images. Meanwhile, he will start his
study on the hardware of the OCT system.
