Matthew Ford is an undergraduate student at CWRU working on his BS in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in instrumentation. He is currently in the process of applying for the BS/MS program at CWRU and hopes to continue his education through a PhD. Currently he is investigating optical methods of stress detection, and hopes to apply this to the cornea. He is also investigating the feasibility of a thermal light source scanner.
