Research Summary
Hui Wang graduated from NanJing University of Science & Technology in 1999 with an M.S. Degree. Most of his work was related to signal processing and circuit design. Because of an interest in applied optics, he began studying at Shanghai Institute of Optics & Fine Mechanics in 1999, focusing on the Volume Grating and its application for optical communication components. In 2001, he began work for Shanghai Digital-Health Company developing a method of imaging SPR for Protein a Chip. He arrived in Cleveland in August of 2002 and began graduate study at CWRU in Dr. Rollins' Biophotonics Lab. His current research is high resolution OCT. His research interests include Fiber Optics, Nonlinear Optics, Embedded System Design and developing new instruments using MEOMS.
